The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you are looking for a robot mop and vacuum that's priced in the middle. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to map out your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and numerous features such as an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. The robot also learns your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automatic cleaning functions at the touch of one button. You can opt for an overall clean that focuses on getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice or two thorough mappings of your home to ensure your entire home is properly arranged.

This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do and can clean up pet hair with ease. It's a challenge with plush or high-pile carpets however iRobot says that future models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's a nice change from the hockey puck-like design of robovacs, but we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an advanced filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the price tag.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM to map your interior. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundaries, so it is aware of areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are just as effective as those on more expensive models, and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only downside is that it does not have an additional rubber brush to allow to provide more thorough cleaning, but it's an affordable cost to pay for if you want one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors, and filling it up takes only two or three cycles, even when you have maximum dirt.

For the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, produce little noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and then move on if it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and automatically transfers garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is not right for example, a low clean water tank or robotvacuummops a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to an empty bin.

You can also create and merge rooms to modify the way that Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is useful if you have different flooring in different areas of your house or if you need to regularly get rid of clutter like clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris on carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first attempt. It can even vacuum up wet spills, though I recommend cleaning them off with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you could want. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, as well as an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still big. It measures over two feet in the height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a complete cleaning of around 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also has a bigger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Additionally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and voice assistant that operates offline, allowing you to use it even if you're away from home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot for mopping. Its mop pads rotating clean tough stains and its motor produces lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also top-notch, and it boosts suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as anything we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that has a range of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It can make precise floor maps and recognize various flooring types. It's also one of the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are great, they also push the L10s Ultra into the luxury category, which might make it somewhat more expensive than some homeowners require.

Designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's highlighted by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine features an impressive bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture while moving around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front panel, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that is a switch for on and off. The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris from our hard-floor test and removing all but the most stubborn juice stains. The mops are also efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the floor, or quaker oats on the carpet.
